Yes to Friday and yes to the cheesy goodness of these oh so delicious cheesy potato fries! You must try this easy and yummy recipe this weekend, you will not regret it!
~Cheesy
Potato Fries~
4-6
potatoes
¼ cup
olive oil
Salt,
pepper, favorite seasoning salt
1 cup
sour cream
½ cup
ranch dressing
¼ cup
milk
1 cup
shredded cheddar cheese
½ cup
shredded mozzarella cheese
½ cup
real bacon bits
¼ cup
green onions
Cut
potatoes into “steak french fries” size.
Place on foiled baking sheet and drizzle with olive oil and lightly toss
with tongs. Sprinkle salts and pepper
over the potatoes. Bake at 400 degrees
for 40 minutes or until fork tender.
In a
small bowl, mix sour cream, ranch dressing and a splash of milk.
Once
the potatoes are done cooking, spread a layer of the sour cream mixture on a
platter and lay hot fries on top.
Drizzle remaining sour cream mixture over fries, top that with cheese
and finish off with bacon bits and green onions.
If
needed, place under broiler for an extra minute or two to melt the cheese.
This
recipe is very easy to alter, so don’t be afraid to. This will just get you started… however, no
matter what cheese or spices you use, you must NOT forget to add the sour
cream/ranch mixture! It makes or breaks
these cheesy fries.
